Friends of the Garden

Community and connection are at the heart of everything we do. Black Holly Gardens is proud to grow alongside a circle of friends, makers, and sister companies who share a love for the land, the plants, and the work of mindful creation.

Below are a few of the kindred businesses and collaborators who inspire and support what we do, from local growers and artisans to fellow herbalists and small-batch creators. Each one adds something special to the broader garden we’re all tending together.

Bird on a Branch

If we had to sum up what Bird on a Branch is all about, it’d be this: Learn things. Build things. Grow things. Repeat. Their mission is to offer services, classes, and products that educate and inspire people to become more self-sufficient, capable, and food secure. Whether you’ve got acres of land or just a sunny windowsill, it’s never too late to start learning how to grow your own food, raise chickens, make things with your own two hands, and live a healthier, more purposeful life.

Red Oak Permaculture

We are passionate about using permaculture techniques to solve the problems brought on by deforestation, industrial agriculture, and climate change. We have over a decade of food production and design experience during which time we have created large systems to provide food to restaurants and small home systems for kitchen herbs. Contact us today to see how we can help make a positive impact in your community!
